Today was one of those days when you think, man I should have just stayed home. The temp. was in the high 30s low 40s, the wind was blowing 10 to 20 mph out of the WNW. I think live bait would have been better than the 3 inch grub I was fishing, but it was nice to get out and enjoy the beauty of the lake, even though I didn't get so much as a bite. In 2 weeks or so when it warms up more the white bass and walleye should be running up in the creeks, and hopefully I will start slaying them.
P. S. We saw 5 or 6 nice turkeys too.
