paste lures dry out when it’s warm at night and will not wash away during rain. When it dries out just take a q-tip and rub it and the smell kicks back up.
Part 2 liquid lures are good when the weather is warm but not when it rains. This lure causes more dig outs and non target catches when it rains and here is why. When it rains the lure oil floats on the rain run off and right on top of the trap. When it dries up most people remake the set with fresh dirt but do not change the trap. Your trap is going to smell like the lure. This is what causes a dug up trap in a lot of cases and is blamed on the coon
