i went this morning and saw a coyote cross the road just before i got to where i parked and another one when i was walking in. coulda been the same one. made two setups with no response. i hope to do better next time.

the old standby, rabbit distress. on public ground. i might hafta use a less used sound at this locale. maybe fawn or bird distress. there are alot of critters in this spot. fox, yote, and cat all frequent the area. buddy of mine has a call that makes bobcat vocalizations. gonna try it at that spot too.

are you using a electronic call or hand calls? last year on some really pressured land i used 2 different yote howlers doing challenge howls. id do one then wait a minute then do the other .after i was done with the challenges id wait about 4-5 minutes then do some kiyis and just make it sound like an all out brawl between 2 males! About 20 minutes later the biggest male yote that i had ever seen in my life skylined himseld on a terrace about 75 yards away and met a 45 gr hollow point out of a 22 mag!!! >foxpro<
