a few times i've left the minnow bucket out on a cold night and the water froze. brought em in, thawed em out, and all were fine. not a real hard freeze though, and just overnight. still, though, they were froze up in ice, couldnt move, and lived. it amazed me.

They are pretty tough. I got some from Rogers Lures the other day that I need to check on.

I just checked my minnows and there is still a layer of ice over them about 2 inches and every one of em is alive. The ice insulates them I guess.
