the conditions are just rite for yote huntin! there is some snow on the ground,making it easier to see the animal,also makes for easier tracking! By the way we are knee deep in their breeding season! some effective calls are female wimpers,female invatation,and the go to call the interigation howl...go get um!!! >foxpro<

prey in distress calls should still work also, they oughta be hungry right now. remember that snow makes you easier to see also. walking in snow is louder too. remember that when going to your setup, use wind and terrain to your advantage.

well said mocat,i love the jackrabbit in distress for the electronic,and for the hand calls you cant beat the psycho tweety or just the plain tweety! I always set up with a cross wind,don't skyline yourself match your surroundings and sit tite to cover...and always wear total camo including cloves and a facemask...tons of people i no think that it isn't necessary and i can tell you that i put more fur on the ground then them! Also a good tip if you don't have snow camo and you want to match the White surroundings turn a long sleeve camo tee inside out and presto you got some redneck snow camo!!! >foxpro<
