WOW...Got this rain today, and didn't see too many.
Went out in the yard, tonight, after the 10:00 news.
They were thick...Wasn't all that wet, (the rain had all soaked in) but they were everywhere. Picked up quite a few "freebies" that were completely out.
Got about 50 BIG ones in about 20 minutes...I didn't keep any that were smaller than a pencil.
River's rising, and I'm going catfishing in the morning

at my work there are huge river worms that only come up if it rains a good downpour after dark. most of them are bigger around than a dime and well over a foot long. when you stick a hook in em they ooze a greenish yellow mucous. they are great catchers. im lookin forward to a good after dark rain on a warm night. i will get sometimes 3 or 4 hundred of them on a good night.
