from talking to a well knowed professional trapper( asa lenon.) we both came to this point.cats are really attracted to gland lures many times they are caught on sets with gland lures .it don't matter why type of set and yes even scent post will produce cats but not only will they mark a spot like the canine will but then they tend to rub on it thus giving you a second chance at him.every gland lure out there will produce cats.it don't matter if it's red fox gland ,grey fox gland ,yote gland,weasel gland ,mink gland or bobcat gland as they all will work on cats..
the great thing about gland lures no set needs a flag thus giving you a 50/50 chance for all predators including cats.for the record a cat gland is highly attracted for grey fox a well and they both can be guided heavy with out spooking eather one
