Guys if there any old barns, house places these places are magnets for coon to den up in. 5x5's in boxs and cage traps are great for these spots. hopefully one day we will regain our use of 6x6 body gripers legally. and we'll take care of the over populaton a coons for the state.

3 CSR 10-8.510;3b: Conibear or other killing-type traps with a jaw spread not greater than eight inches (8") may be set six feet (6') or more above ground level in buildings. dont forget about this little loophole for the old buildings. i dont know about the over population. coon are scarce here in my area, distemper hit em hard. might still be alot in other parts.

Yaa they took a hard shot here this yr folks finding dead coons every time they turned around. lots a corn / bean fields and hard woods here hopefully we'll have a crop next yr.
